Spooky Armoire Transformation into a Bookshelf

I have a problem. I only have one bookshelf, and it’s completely full. I’m in desperate need of a new bookshelf, because I have boxes of books that are just waiting to be organized. The armoire in the pic is from my dad’s side of the family, and we’re supposed to go pick it up from my uncle’s soon. I know the old wood and overall look appears creepy, and it kind of is, which is another reason why I like it.
When my dad first told me about the armoire, it was around the same time I realized that I needed another bookshelf. So I got the bright idea to transform this piece of furniture into what I needed. I thought it would be great to keep something with so much history and also be able to use it daily.

I haven’t picked it up yet, because doing so requires at least three hours of drive time, plus hauling a trailer, but once I get it, you can be sure that I’ll post pictures of the finished product!
