Dawn Husted is the author of young-adult books written with romantic twists. She was nominated as a panelist for Teen BookFest by the Bay in 2024. When not writing, she's either camping or dreaming about camping, minus the 100°F heat.
But since it's hot the majority of the time of year where she lives, she enjoys being near a water source to jump into. She lives in central Texas with her husband, two kids, two cats, and an adorable golden retriever who has floppy ears and a personality to match.
