Roswell TV show fans! Not only am I a fan of YA alien fiction, but I’m also a die-hard fan of Roswell (old and new). I have all the seasons to the old Roswell series on DVDs, and when I heard the TV gods were coming out with a new Roswell series on the CW, I halted everything to find out more.
What Did I Think of Season 2?
Season 2 just ended. The series is vastly different from the old one, but it also has many similarities. The new series seems to be much more plot-driven, but with a healthy dose of character development, which is good. The actors who portray the main cast are fantastic, and the guy who plays Max, well … he’s dreamy like he’s supposed to be. I’m not so sure I’m impressed with his character during the last few episodes; I feel something is missing but it was done on purpose, and I wasn’t exactly sure what it was that was missing. Then came the finale.
Spoiler alert! If you haven’t watched the finale, then don’t read any further. Finale
When the show ended, and Isobel, Max, and Michael discovered the “other” lookalike-Max trapped in the alien cave, my mouth dropped! Who is the lookalike? Is he evil (I think he is)? Why does Max look like him? I really hope that Max’s character becomes the tough cowboy again soon, because that’s when I liked him the best. The Southern drawl, the hero that saves people, the leader of the pack, etc. But I guess I won’t find out what happens with his character and the lookalike until next season. And did him and Liz “break up”? I may need to re-watch the episode to see if I missed anything. Can’t wait!
